Summary
As a mom, it is important to me that when I have my son out and about that he is not touching anything that can make him sick, get him filthy, get in his eyes, or anything that can bite or sting him. This was a perfect solution because of the thickness, as well as the padding on the underside. It conveniently folds up into a sort of carrying case. There are handles, and a Velcro flap that makes it extremely portable, and it is VERY light. My only complaint is that I would like to have this in a more cottony feeling fabric. This one feels like a softer kind of wool without the itchiness. In the summer, the last thing I want is to sit in the sun on top of something meant to be warm itself. Overall, I like this picnic blanket and would definitely recommend it to people that are always out and about, and do a lot of family outings to the park or beach.
