Summary
This is one of the better knife sharpeners I have used. It is a little different than the ones we owned previously. We have one that is a sharpening rod, and then one that has to pieces of metal making a V to run the knife through to sharpen it, but this one is bigger, more sturdy, and I do not worry about cutting myself. You lay it on the counter, place your hand inside of it and press down. Then you run your knife through either the carbide blade or the ceramic wheels, or both depending on how dull your knife is. This would make a nice gift for kitchen aficionado's everywhere. We always have a knife that is just too dull and this works really well. Overall, I am pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve never used a knife sharpener before. This sounds like a great one. It would really come in handy in our kitchen.
