Summary
When the first necklace arrived (the darker colored one) I was excited because Bubby is teething and it is a living nightmare! I was so happy that maybe his agony would be over. I cleaned the necklace and put it on him making sure to stay close by him while he was wearing it as it is only meant to be worn for a short while, and then taken off. After where this for about 2 1/2 hours, my husband noticed a red ring all the way around Bubby's neck! This kind of made me mad, but instead I contacted the company that we got this item from. I let them know what the issue was, and in turn, the told me that the lighter necklace might not be as harsh on his sensitive skin. Apparently, some children have much more of a sensitivity to the amber than others. They offered to send me another one, the light colored amber necklace to also try out, before posting a review. When this one arrived I was kind of skeptical, but I tried it. Lord knows, my baby is miserable and all I want to do is make his pain go away. So this time I put it on him and watched over him. I left this one on for about 3 or 4 hours as we were playing and watching TV. With this one, I did nt notice any redness, or irritation. Overall, I think that both necklaces have their pro's and cons, but for me and Bubby, the lighter colored one worked best. I would definitely recommend buying the lighter one if you know your child might have a reaction or has showed signs of having sensitive skin. The customer service was great. They were prompt, and courteous and did everything possible to make the situation correct. I will be buying from them in the future.
