When I was pregnant, cloth diapering was honestly the farthest thing from my mind. All I could focus on was the health of my baby, if I should breastfeed or bottle feed, what doctor to choose, so on and so forth, blah blah blah. But diapers, I thought, were a no-brainer! Well, boy was I WRONG! Apparently there really is a better way of diapering, and let me tell you, I totally found it!!
Thanks to my amazing friend over at Mommies Gone Mad, I am now the proud owner of many cloth diapers and constantly growing my stock pile!! Thanks Alyssa for getting me hooked!
To date, I have had the opportunity to try out many brands, some I liked, but a very small few I absolutely loved. Kanga Care brand diapers have been added to my list of ‘loves’. They carry a wide range of options to choose from whether you are looking for covers or all-in-ones, or whether you need newborn sized or one size’s. They literally have you covered.
We received 2 of their OS AIO’s (one size all in one’s) in Dandelion and Charlie patterns.
When they first arrive and I pulled them out of the package, I was kind of taken aback. The diapers felt very well made, but they seemed incredibly thick. After taking a few minutes to explore them and figure out the way these worked, I realized that the liner wasn’t your normal liner, it is their Signature 6r Soaker liners made to cater to babies from newborn to potty training! These are amazing because they are so thick. You can combine them in 6 different ways for the maximum protection and comfort for your little one. They are extremely soft to the touch and very absorbent. When I put my little guy down for his nap I didn’t double them up, but I did use the large liner. I will admit that I should have doubled them because with only the single padding it was extremely wet, but it did not leak out the sides like with disposables, and some of the other CD’s I own. I personally think for sleep, that doubling the liners is a smart move and can help keep baby much more comfy until they wake up. During playtime, the single liner works great and kept Bubby dry.
The diapers themselves, are incredibly nice. I tugged at the stitching, and tried to induce damage and to no avail they withstood all of my efforts. There are tons of patterns to pick from, and each one is equally beautiful.
The one-size diapers I received have 4 sizes, pictured to the left, by simply using the different snap settings. No matter how big or small your baby is, these are a perfect option from hospital to toddlerdom!
They are made with hypoallergenic material, and have an eco-friendly, waterproof coating to keep the mess in and everything else out. They feature patented double inner gussets and a stuffable pocket to hold your 6r Soaker liners!
These diapers seemed a little small to me just from looking at them, but once I got them on my little guy, it was off to the races! He loved them, which in turn made me very happy. The saying ‘you can’t judge a book by it’s cover’, really is true.
Basically, I freakin’ LOVE these diapers! And I really think if you try them out, you will too. The quality couldn’t possibly be any better, and the fact that they do come in so many patterns makes me love this brand even more! I really wish I had this when the twins were younger. I think it’s a lot more convenient to have this.
How cute are these! I’ve passed the diaper stage but I do know some new moms that would love these.
Those are so cute and adorable, and it looks so soft and comfortable, my cousins would love this.
So cute! Unfortunately I don’t know anyone with a baby.
These are adorable! I am passed the diaper stage think goodness and I didn’t use cloth, but I do know a whole bunch of people that would love this right now.
I’m a big believer in cloth diapering and Kanga Care is a new brand for me. I love the AIO concept and some of their designs are really cute!
They have tons of really cute designs for both boys and girls!! They are also incredibly soft and absorb well. I will say that most cloth diapers should be washed at least twice to get the maximum absorbency out of them.
I didn’t cloth diaper, so this sounds good to me from my perspective. These sound great for cloth diapering moms.
Aw, these are too cute. My twin granddaughters are past the diaper stage, but I will keep this in mind for the next ones.
I wish I had a little one all over again. So many great products that are availble now….
I will keep these in mind when my next grandbaby (or babies) arrives! I think they would be great for new moms and dads and especially for their babies.
They are awesome! I honestly love them. The quality is great and my little sweetie seems really comfy in them. I would recommend any moma thinking of cloth diapering to give these a try!!
