Where has Gourmet Gifter been all my life?

When it comes to giving gifts, I love to give things that are useful, as well as, being a piece to talk about! Well, I had never really thought about food in that way until I came across Gourmet Gifter! Not only are their selections something that can be used every day, but they can become something beautiful. From popcorn to elegant gift baskets, they have it all!!
I was able to try out a few things and would love to share my thoughts with you. I was able to try out a few things and would love to share my thoughts with you.

First of all, I received 4 items, the first of which was their Salty Sweet Addiction Kettle Corn.
This was surprisingly delicious! I say that because I have NEVER been a big fan of kettle corn, and have always preferred the taste of salty, buttery popcorn over the sweet stuff. But this has really changed my opinion of kettle corn altogether!!

The bag comes vacuum sealed, helping to keep the popcorn fresh. This is great because I tend to buy snack foods and then leave them sitting for a week or more before eating them and a lot of the time they are stale by the time I DO eat them.

This kettle corn has a ton of perks such as only having a few ingredients: popcorn, corn oil, sugar, and salt. It is also gluten free, dairy free, has no transfat, no preservatives, no cholesterol, low sodium, it is nut free, vegetarian friendly, it’s a good source of fiber, and whole grains!! What could be better than snacking away and knowing that what you are eating is good for you while tasting great!

I also received a bag of Chili Cheese Puffs! Oh wow!
These were really good, and have an amazing chili flavor that lingers just enough afterwards to keep you satisfied and not feeling the need to dive back in and eat the whole bag. I always end up eating way more than I should of most snack foods because I don’t feel as though I have had enough but that definitely isn’t the case with these.

They are super puffy and there is not lack of flavor on any single puff. Each bite has it’s own personal explosion of flavor inside of your mouth. While you could always buy these for yourself, I think sharing them with someone else is a great option, and since the price is so amazing these are sure to be a hit whether you give them away, keep them for your family, or add them to a party as as snack for your guests.

My absolutely favorite thing that came though, was their savory Peanut Brittle!!

All I can say about it is that I literally had flashbacks to my childhood that brought tears to my eyes!! As a little girl, my Granny would always keep tins of peanut brittle laying around the house since that was her all-time favorite candy. It was a special treat for her to give my sister and I a piece, and when we did get some it was like magic.

This peanut brittle is unlike any I have ever had before though, because it is so much softer and didn’t hurt my teeth from being so difficult to break and chew. When I bit into the first bite, there was a sweet and buttery detonation of flavor, and memory all at once. That is the ONLY way I, personally, can describe it.

My least favorite, but still yummy, was their Pineapple Meal Replacement Bar.

I have never been big on protein bars, meal replacement bars, and the like, but if I were to eat those things, this would probably be my first choice. The flavor was great, but the texture was something I could not get past. There is a semi-gritty texture as you chew. But no so much so that it is unbearable. Like I said, it did taste good, but the texture was not my thing.

This is something I have found in most meal bars I have tried, and I do not think there is a way to avoid it.  This would be the kind of thing you would buy if you are into healthy stuff, or to gift to someone that replaces meals already.

Overall, I love this company, and the products that they offer. Mostly because they cater to every walk of life and no one is left behind when it comes to the wonderful world of snacking! I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are one of the amazing food gifters out there, or you just want tasty, fulfilling snacks for yourself or your family.
